four never before released or publicly available demo cuts from the writing sessions of craig peyton and jolyon skinner circa 1983-1985. the duo produced and wrote hits for artists in between working on their own projects. these songs survived the past 30 years on a cassette tape, which was lovingly transferred for this exclusive to peyton records release. after their short but fruitful collaborative period, peyton went on as a writer and band leader and skinner went on to have a career as a songwriter for pop acts such as joe, nsync, and freddie jackson. in the words of craig peyton: �jolyon skinner and i met in the early �80s through our mutual friend keith diamond (the trinidadian producer of hits such as �caribbean queen� by billy ocean). after we met, jolyon and i started regular writing sessions at my nyc p-factor studio. our first break came in 1983 with howard johnson�s �let this dream be real-. that was followed up with �love of a lifetime� by melba moore and �where ya gonna be tonight� for will collins. after this we were offered a recording deal by april blackwood music, but due to my contract with profile records at the time we couldn�t accept it. shortly after skinner got signed to zomba and we stopped writing together around 1985.

celestial being visited nairobi at the end of august and beginning of september 2012 where he worked with local musicians to create celestial music. kenge kenge brought cow horns and hand made drums and were joined by local folk singers olith, who had come to nairobi through making music with king kong and irungu with his father who has since passed. when asked what the kenge groove sounded like, the receptionist prisca said its like the angel is coming before proceeding to provide additional vocals for all three tracks. nairobi story tells of an ancient village story passed down as a folk song to the present generation. celestial being kept forgetting whether olith was male or female and ending up making a song with him called all woman. this is currently a vinyl only release

label name ittetsu is his actual family name as well as his artist name where he expresses his passion about music. 001 is a 2 track ep on his own followed by a split ep 002 with a special newcomer.

based in montreal, ombossa appeared on dvs1 s mistress recordings in 2015. the young and talented french producer is set to have his first ep released in september on fracture, with a remix from silent season s asc. the blinding flare of 61 virgins is an elegant techno trip, an ode that goes deeper and deeper during 8 blissful minutes where you lose your own sense of time. on remix duty, asc skillfully makes it weirder, for a first ep that will please the more daring selectors out there.

&apos�s music veers between abstract, experimental compositions and more beat driven tracks, all held together by a defined aesthetic of sonic impurities and random patterns thrown up by algorithmic computations. in &apos�s music compositional decisions are not merely reliant on himself but also on a range of processes from constrained randomness to full fledged neural networks. that is to say, the �instruments� he creates have -to a certain extent- a mind of their own. there will always be a dynamic between the musician and something else that triggers, proposes or decides what will happen to the music.it is exactly from this human-machine interaction that &apos extrapolates his musical ideas that are both intricate and detailed while never losing an overall sense of emotional value. his first solo project �lichtdrank� is a selection of four tracks made during his time studying sonology at the hague�s royal conservatory and the time following. it is the third and final installment of bepotel s startuplabel trilogy. previously, he has released music together with walrus and sagat under several musical projects like smaakwaterval and bepotel. the artwork of the lichtdrank ep is based on screenshots from an interactive multiplayer video game where the musical universe of &apos can be explored.

ethimms second ep when in dark delivers the groups signature tension music with moods oscillating between suicidal heartbreak and conciliatory optimism. in the opening track why (a cover of the rhythm and sound classic), producer elisabeth thimm sets the stage for guest singer veronique to mourn love s loss, while brian gimmel s improvised piano licks hold strong agains the songs relentless bassline. the follow-up track late features lexx s dreamy lyrics gracing a subtle dance foor tune for spaced-out souls. the b side opens with ethimms love for dub. next is a freaked-out meditation on what has been and will be, while the fnal track done slowly creeps towards its peak, refecting on dark days where light may have not been much in sight, but going forward sees optimism, increased resolution, and drive.

the ep entitled deceased unknown, a seemingly morbid piece of art (art/music) but look a little deeper! this ep sees b12 pick up the pace from their previous firescope release brokenunbroken �coduktor� an organ plays some subtle chords behind this track while beautiful drums skip along on top, to create a sonic backdrop for the very quirky melodies and top lines that constantly evolve and interpolate. a spiritual experience ? �dont look down� 808 and 909 drum and pads always a killer combination add to this an odd malformed bass line which never really reveals quite what it is doing makes for a pretty interesting track. don�t look down where is the question �blue and green capsule� a pumping kick drum sets the pace for this track which builds up using classic b12 style drums. the swirling pads and sliding melodies interlaced make this track reminiscent of �epillion� as featured on the classic b12 album �time tourist� on warp records in 1996. a track you can move your feet as well as your head to �minor decay� brain decay , world decay , urban decay , human decay , music decay, unavoidable decay - a simple straightforward techno track using its simplicity to conjure up feelings of sadness and thoughtfulness as well as joy and hope. a new hope finished in glorious red with black splatter vinyl with exclusive artwork by sarah sparkes
